SAI Autism

Society for the Autistics in India (SAI) is a non-government, non-profit, registered charitable trust. SAI was formed by a group of parents of children with Autism on September 1, 1995 in Bangalore, India. The Trust aims to work for the welfare of individuals with autism and their families.

Autism is a lifelong neurobiological developmental disability. It is one of the most puzzling and challenging disorders. Persons with autism have a range of impairments in social interaction, speech, language and communication, and often present bizarre behaviors.
